I'm back! Have been slightly hibernating - life can get complicated and so I have been ignoring the blogging world. But today I had a good day, and allowed myself to shop for the first time in a long long time. I have been looking for the perfect denim shirt for ages, and went into a shop I had never seen before today, called Select and managed to pick up this for just £16. It is exactly what I have been looking for. I love the pearly popper buttons and the elbow patches.

I have a cute Aztec print skirt in black, purple and blue that I think would go well with this. Any other styling suggestions?

This is my planned outfit for tomorrow! Excited to be getting all my winter clothes out again and layer dresses and knits. But I refuse to give up pastels - they are just too pretty! I am wearing this nail polish from Marks and Spencers, it is really pretty but mine is a smaller version with the most pathetic brush! The colour itself is gorgeous though and perfect for colder days.

There is nothing better than being by the ocean, and walking along the beach. Sea creatures are mysterious and unique, and I love the colours of them. What could be better then wearing sea themed clothes and cute accessories. I LOVE the crab hat - so crazy! I would love to wear it round London and get strange looks off people.

One thing to know about me is that if you put an animal on a product, I will more than likely want to own it. I've always been drawn to jewellery and clothes featuring my favourite animals so it is a delight to see so many pieces on the high street that suit my style. 

As we are heading into autumn (although ironically the sun is shining brighter this week than most of summer!) there is an abundance of forest critters on the clothing and accessories I see, in warm autumnal tones. Here are a few of my favourite pieces I have seen - I desperately want to buy the Topshop skirt!

I love prints with animals on - they are the funnest thing to wear. So it makes me happy that there is so much choice at the moment! Cats are the cutest - I love how lazy and fluffy they are. I have a fair few shirts with cats on but these are just a few pieces I would love to add to my wardrobe. I will potentially drag my friends to Pull and Bear at the weekend to buy the shirt - such a bargain at twenty pounds! And I will forever lust for the Charlotte Olympia shoes... maybe one day when I am rich and famous!
